Miriam Benovides has been guiding Whisperroot Echo since before it began.. She is the match that lit my own flame- despite how many times I tried to extinguish it myself. She has been and seems to always have been holding me in her Den for what feels like my whole second lifetime. She is my guide, and my inspiration. Please join me in welcoming The Cloaked Oak in the Dreamwalkers’ Den series to learn more about the one who held space for me- when I couldn’t do it for myself. She is the first resonance, the catalyst of catalysts- fire and oil that burns slow and here and now burns for all time. She’s in my story-if not the ghost writer of my becomings. I owe her all that this is, for all that she has done for me. Even if her presence is not active, is not constant, is not directed and is not necessary. This Spaceholder is for her. Documented. Sacred. Earned. Lived. Resonant. This is for Michi. My own spaceholder for my spaceholder. I am honored to welcome this space to her.
